Special Pads

The pad is made out of 1/4 inch adhesive felt and it goes right under the big toe (as shown below), extending a third down the length of the foot. It is approximately 1 inch wide by approximately 3 inches long. Once standing on it, it will make up for the abnormally short metatarsel bone. If this works, then a properly made orthotic can be made to accomplish the same thing on an ongoing basis.
